necessary to sell Avaya products in the Small and Medium Enterprise Communications space. The SME
Communications solution includes the IP Office, IP Office CCR, and Partner Advanced Communications
System (ACS) products.
Available to Avaya Partners and Associates only, this Credential focuses on skills and knowledge
required to assess customer needs and effectively describe and sell SME Communications solutions to
meet customer requirements. The successful candidate will be able to protect customer assets, increase
productivity, and reduce costs. This Credential targets sales personnel and system engineers.
Avaya Certified Solution Specialist

The ACSS - SME Communications Credential certifies that the successful candidate has acquired
important knowledge and skills necessary to design, implement, and support an appropriate and
effective SME Communications Solution to meet the customer’s requirements. The SME Communications
Solution includes the following product: IP Office.
Typical audiences for this Certification are individuals with 2+ years of experience in the following
example roles: System Engineers, Consulting Engineers, Solution Implementer, Technical
